I want to take this opportunity to express gratitude to our dedicated PTOs. Our AES, FES, GRAIS, and FLMS PTO Board Members, parent volunteers, families, and community supporters give generously of their time, energy, and resources. Their efforts enhance the academic experiences of our students each and every year.
Our PTOs organize school events, such as Fun Runs, and family activities, like Glow Dances. They provide enrichment opportunities from field trips and assemblies to guest speakers and performances. They also support classroom and school initiatives by funding resources for teachers. From sticky notes to wobble chairs, PTOs fill classroom wish lists all year long. Our PTOs play a tremendous role in making our schools welcoming engaging places to learn and grow.
Equally important is the partnership and community that PTOs foster. By connecting families, school staff, administrators, and community members together, their help strengthens the relationships that are necessary for student success.
As Superintendent, I deeply appreciate the partnership our PTOs maintain with our schools. To every PTO member and volunteer, thank you for the hours you dedicate, the ideas you bring forward, the challenges you help solve, and the enthusiasm you bring to our schools.
