Week 3

Good Evening FLRSD Community,

Our FLRSD Strategic Planning Team (SPT) cordially invites all parents and community members to its 2nd Focus Group Listening Session. These listening sessions are designed to gather community feedback about the strengths, challenges, and future plans for many aspects of FLRSD. The original letter outlining the SPT’s focus was published in June and again in July. That letter is here for your ease of access. The 2nd Focus Group Listening Session is taking place this Thursday, September 24, 2026. Please click here for details about this up-and-coming Parent & Community Focus Group Listening Session. Hope to see you there!

Our schools celebrated Constitution Day on September 17th. Each school provided age appropriate programming about this seminal document. Commemorations provided meaningful opportunities for students to learn about our nation's history, as well as contemporary life. There are some pictures below highlighting related activities.

There is a School Committee Meeting this Wednesday at 6:00 pm at ARHS in the Library. This SC Meeting, as well as all of our public meetings and school events, can be found on our updated site. Please also check out our Community Tab. Accessing this tab will connect you to our two towns and to our Community Bulletin Board where you will find local events. Should you have a local event to advertise, please follow these ADA Compliance instructions and submit your flyer for review. If you are a community organization and you are seeking use of our facilities, please complete our new Digital FLRSD Building Use Request Form.

Have a wonderful weekend.

In Partnership with Teri Fleming, John Higgins, and Kelly Steele,
