Attention 8th graders! The grade 8 Freelake Leaders are accepting new members. Starting today, anybody who did not apply to the Freelake Leaders last year and would like to, can pickup an application in the guidance office. Please get them to Mrs. Jolly as soon as possible but no later than Friday the 30th. Space is limited, and first come, first served.
The first Chess Club meeting will be on October 12th in room 214 from 2:15 - 3:15. All are welcome!
The FLMS soccer team continued their winning ways yesterday as they defeated Middleboro by a score of 8 to 0. FLMS has their toughest challenge yet as they take on a strong Swansea team this afternoon. Good luck team!
The FLMS soccer team kicked off their season yesterday afternoon and it couldn't have started any better. FLMS took home their first win of the season, beating Bridgewater by a score of 7 to 0. The team looks to continue their winning ways as they travel to Middleboro this afternoon. Good luck, team!
If you're creative, have an eye for design, love taking pictures, or just want to get involved, the Yearbook Club would love to have you! Any student interested in helping in the planning and creation of the yearbook is invited to attend the first meeting of the year. It will be on Tuesday, October 4, in room 113 and will last until 3:00. If you have any questions, see Mr. Boissonneau or Ms. George.
Our first soccer game of the season is right around the corner. Our home opener is this Tuesday vs Bridgewater. Come out to the fields after school and support this year's team! We hope to see you there!

The boys and girls cross country team had their first meet yesterday against Berkley. The girls ran first and were able to get the win. The boys ran next and crushed the competition! It was great to see how both the boys and the girls cheered as the other group ran. Great job! The next practice is on Monday, September 19th. See you all then!
Do you like drawing, creating, and making? Then join the Art Club. It will start Thursday September 29th after school in the art room. How do you join? Have a parent or guardian send an email to Mr. Alves stating you have permission to come. There will only be 15 spots, so don't wait!
