STEM WEEK IS COMING UP:
We are really looking forward to seeing the solutions that the 4th and 5th grade students come up with for our STEM: Building Bridges challenge during the week of October 17th. The students will be able to engage in the engineering design process while they come up with solutions to building a model bridge that needs to hold weight. We will be testing the bridges to find the greatest weight held. We can't wait to see the designs.

Influenza Information
The flu is a highly contagious viral infection of the respiratory tract. Children tend to contract the flu more often than adults. Flu season is typically November through April, but it can start as early as October and end as Late as May. It is often confused with the common cold, but flu symptoms tend to develop quickly (usually 1 to 4 days after a person is exposed to the flu virus) and are usually more severe than the typical sneezing and stuffiness of a cold.
