Please be reminded that there is no school for students on Tuesday, November 7th, as the FLRSD staff will be engaging in professional development.
Bus Evacuation Drill:
Per Mr. Rezendes, the GRAIS students who ride the bus did very well during the bus evacuation drill this past Wednesday. Thanks for having them prepared and dressed appropriately.

A Message from the Nurse’s Suite:
This time of the year brings beautiful foliage and cooler weather. Please have children dress in layers, as outdoor recess can become chilly. Healthy tips for this time of year are to wash your hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, get plenty of rest, stay hydrated, eat a balanced diet, and stay active!
STEM Week is Next Week:
Our STEM challenge week starts tomorrow. The students will be engaging in the engineering design process while they work in collaborative groups. A great deal of thanks to all the families who procured and delivered all the newspapers we will need for the challenge. PTO News:
Our Halloween Social will be on Friday, October 20th from 6-8pm. Volunteers are needed for this event! Flyers are going home on Thursday with students. The Sign-up Genius for volunteers has gone, so keep a lookout for it. If you can’t volunteer, we will also need water/food donations which will be included in the Sign-up Genius. This is a drop-off event for GRAIS students only.
There is no fee to attend this event, but we will ask each student to bring tissues to help supply the school for the winter season.
