Dear Intermediate School Families,
As the weather begins to get a bit nicer, allowing us to get outside more, please consider encouraging the boys and girls to dress in layers. As spring approaches, It is also recommended that you review the dress code in the student handbook online, which you read with your student in the fall.
Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Awards:
Our congratulations go out to five GRAIS students and their families, as they were recognized with a certificate for their high performance on the 2022 MCAS or MCAS-ALT. We are so proud of Jack F, Lucie G, Noah M, Zach M, and Jordan T.
Women in History Resources in the Library:
With over 400 books about women in biographies; collective biographies; and other subjects, the GRAIS library has books about women’s achievements in nearly every area! These books include, but are not limited to Girls Who Rocked the World, Heroines from Sacajawea to Sheryl Swoopes, She Represents, 44 Women Who are Changing Politics . . . and the World, Remember the Ladies, 100 Great American Women, Rabble Rousers–20 Women Who Made a Difference, Let it Shine–Stories of Black Women Freedom Fighters, and She Persisted in Sports.
