Oye! Oye, chicos y chicas! Did I hear there is a dance at the middle school? Si! The 8th annual El Dia de los Muertos Dance is on October 28th from 6-8 PM in the FLMS cafeteria. The event is open to all grades but tickets are limited, so drop by to get a permission slip in room 202. Tickets are $7.00 and will NOT be sold at the door, so don't wait! The FLMS soccer team beat Bridgewater yesterday afternoon by a score of 5 to 1. A great team effort! If the rain lets up, FLMS is looking forward to taking on a tough Berkley team this afternoon right here at home. Keep up the great season!

The boys and girls cross country teams both had wins yesterday against Case. Great job to both teams!

The FLMS soccer team beat Norton yesterday afternoon by a score of 3 to 0 and remain undefeated. The players were great, but the coaching was just as good. Thank you Mr. Higgins for coaching and leading our kids to another win! The team looks to continue their winning ways as they travel to Bridgewater this afternoon.

Eighth graders, did you know that the word "robot" comes from the Czech word robota, meaning "drudgery"? The word was first used in 1921. Join the FLMS grade 8 robotics club! You will be using EV3 technology to build and code a robot. See Mr. Friedrichs in the computer science room, next to the library for a robotics application.

The FLMS Soccer Team had a tough matchup yesterday afternoon against a very strong Raynham team. The score was 0 to 0 at half, but thanks to some relentless and aggressive play by many of our FLMS players, FLMS was able to secure the win by a score of 2 to 0. The team will play Norton this afternoon right her at home. Good luck, team!

Attention basketball players! Any girls interested in playing some basketball after school should head to the gym on Friday for some drills and pickup games. This is just for some fun and exercise and is not tryouts for the school team. Have a ride ready for 3:15!

The FLMS soccer team beat Dighton yesterday by a score of 7 - 0! The team is looking forward to an action packed week next week as they have a game every single day! FLMS plays at home on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, so be sure to come on down and support the team, especially Tuesday and Friday, as those games will be intense. We hope to see our fans next week! The FLMS soccer game versus Swansea was postponed yesterday. The matchup of the year will be later this month. However, FLMS does have a home game today after school against Dighton Middle School. Come on down to the field to cheer on your favorite players. Good luck, team!

It's your lucky day! The application deadline for After the Bell Introduction to Horse and Pony Management and Care has been extended! The new deadline for applications is this Friday, October 7th. Applications can be found in the front lobby, guidance office, and by emailing or seeing Ms. Saben. This will definitely be the final deadline. Gallop...don't walk! We're sure to have a "colt" following!
