Picture Retakes will be on Thursday, the 17th. Here is a flyer for ordering information.
Superintendent’s Round Table will meet on Thursday the 17th to engage in meaningful conversation between students and Mr. Strauss. So excited to see this group together!
Student Council- We will be rolling out our first student podcast later this month, to communicate across all grade levels. Stay tuned!
National Scholastic Art and Writing Awards- If your child loves to draw, paint, sculpt, or write in a variety of genres, please have them chat with their ELA or Art Teachers to submit their work to Scholastics! I KNOW our kids do amazing work, and I would LOVE to see them rewarded for it!
Preparing for High School: Ms. Jolly, Guidance counselor has the following info to share as we plan to get our students ready for their 9-12 experience. On Friday, we were WOWed by Bristol Aggie’s presentation!
Homework Club- Homework Club began Tuesday, October 1st! If you are interested in this program, please email your child’s counselor.

Activities/Events:
Old Colony: 8th-grade Lakeville students have the opportunity to go on a field trip to Old Colony on Thursday, October 31st. Any 8th-grade student interested in Old Colony may come to guidance to pick up a field trip permission form starting on Tuesday, October 15th. Permission slips are due back to guidance no later than Monday, October 21st.
Yearbooks are on sale! It’s easy to order online or a form can be picked up at the main office.
Sports/After School Activities:
The girls soccer team is about half way through the season the soccer teams are off to great starts! The boys team is 7-1 and the girls team is 5-1-1.
In this week’s cross country meet, the boys and girls cross country teams had resounding victories this week against Swansea with the boys moving to 4-1 on the season and the girls keeping their undefeated season alive at 5-0.
