FLMS Sunday Message:

As we head into week 4 of the 2024/25 School Year, we want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support.  Your dedication to your children's education and well-being has not gone unnoticed.

Thank you for:

  • Encouraging your students to persevere through difficult assignments and new experiences as they forge their path into the new school year.

  • Attending parent-teacher conferences and sports events and partnering with us to create a positive learning environment both at school and at home.

Your involvement makes a significant difference in your children's academic and personal growth. We are truly grateful for your partnership in shaping the bright futures of our students.

We will make this week an awesome one, focused on being Respectful, Responsible and Resilient.

Activities/Events:

  • ALICE Training- On Monday, all grades engaged in an important ALICE training with SRO Bartholomew.  The safety of our students is VERY important to us here at FLMS, and we were so proud to have the full attention of each grade level.  You could hear a pin drop during each assembly.  Once we have a date set for the ALICE Drill, we will send you additional information via email.

  • Back To School Night- this annual open house event was held on Thursday night, and we were SO happy to see so many families in the building, visiting classrooms, and meeting teachers.  This year, we added a “community partners” component to the evening, including:

    • Freetown Food Pantry

    • Council on Aging
