Principal’s Message:

Happy Grandparents’ Day, Laker Families!  As a grandmother of a three year old, I cherish and find myself carrying on with traditions my family instilled in me- cooking, singing, fishing and making memories.  Today, let’s send out a big hug to all those Grandmas, Grandpas, Memeres, Grand-pères, AvĂłs, AvĂ´s, Abuelas and Abuelos as we celebrate the beauty of being the parent of a parent!

Our Lakers did an amazing job this week with learning how to navigate their schedules and classroom expectations.  As we roll out our school year, we want students to challenge themselves, try new things, but most importantly be kind to one another.  We will continue to keep you informed as we prepare our students for success.

Sports/After School Activities:

Activities/Events:

  • On Monday, we roll out with iReady assessments for all students- we begin the morning with a quick breakfast, a little motivation, and then we will complete this beginning of the year assessment.  This test will help us to measure growth in ELA and math.  Wish your student luck on the way out the door on Monday!

  • Back To School Night- this annual open house event will be held on Thursday September 19th at 6PM.  We will share a flyer this week with details.
