NOTE FROM THE NURSE:

End of the Year Medication Pick Up

As the school year comes to an end, Please plan to retrieve your child’s medications from the Nurse’s Office on June 20 or 21.  Please reach out to Joan Bullock jbullock@freelake.org with any questions or concerns about medication pick up.

Fall Soccer

Please be sure to check the website for forms and make sure to have a physical on file with the nurse in order to try out for Soccer in the Fall.  A letter will be sent regarding dates later in the summer.

Upcoming Events:

The school year is quickly drawing to a close.  We have many fun and important events planned for the students. Please be sure to mark your calendars!

  • June 18th - 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony

  • June 19th - No School for Juneteenth

  • June 20th - Last Day of School (½ day)

School Updates

Grade 7 Field Trip - On Wednesday, June 12th, our 7th graders traveled to Colt State Park, RI for their field trip. They studied the flora and fauna as well as the local tide pools. Thank you to the 7th grade teachers for their planning and execution of a great event! 

Grade 8 News:  As we close the 4th term there are several important events for the 8th graders as they prepare for their move into high school.

  • The 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony will be held on June 18th in the FLMS gymnasium. The ceremony will begin at 9:30 AM.  Tickets were sent home with students on June 14, 2024
