Nurse’s Corner

We have recently seen an increase in students bringing energy drinks that have high caffeine levels to school. While these beverages can be effective for adults, it can have negative health results for children. In some cases the labeling is confusing. For example we have seen one drink that is labeled as a hydration drink but in small print stated, "for adults only- do not exceed one serving per day."
