Attention Freshmen! Class shirts are in and will be in your advisory. If you did not order a
shirt, there is a very limited supply in guidance available for purchase. Please come down
with $15 exact cash or check if you would like to purchase one. Only available while
supplies last!
The Food Committee will be holding a meeting tomorrow December 8th in the library at
2:25pm. Please bring ideas, comments or concerns you may have on our lunch time
selections!

Need a little fitness in your life? Prepping for the spring season? Join the Laker Athletic
Development Program! An informational meeting will be held Thursday, December 8th,
immediately after school in the team room. Please have a ride to pick you up by 2:45. Any
questions, please see Coach Fyfe in Room 217.
Green Team meeting this Thursday right after school in room 132. Bring a friend and a
green idea.
Auditions for the spring musical, the Little Mermaid will be held Monday the 12th and
Tuesday the 13th after school. You must attend both days or speak with Mr. Ledwith or
Mr. Levesque in advance. See the drama bulletin board in the hallway for the Google
classroom code and for more information. All are welcome to audition!

The “Booked at Apponequet” club has chosen the selections for the December book read.
Members can opt between the following choices: “The Hazel Wood” by Melissa Albert;
“Bridget Jones’s Diary” by Helen Fielding; “Red, White and Royal Blue” by Casey
McQuiston; and “A Cat Cafe Christmas” by Codi Gary. The club will meet to check in and
celebrate the end of the year on Tuesday, Dec 13th. All new members are welcome to
join. For more information or to get a copy of the book, please see Mrs. O’Brien in the
library.
The next AST meeting will be tomorrow from 2:30-3:30. Meet Ms. Lima in room 109 after
school. Please have a ride arranged for 3:30.

A Laker Happy Thanksgiving!
Congratulations to the Laker football team for clinching the South Coast Conference Blue division with a 22 - 3 Turkey Day win over Old Rochester. Well done Lakers!
Our Laker football team will compete for the South Coast Conference Championship Thanksgiving morning at ORR at 10am. Tickets will be cash only: Adults $10, Senior Citizens $5 and students $5. Go Lakers!
