Attention Juniors and Seniors- Outside guest forms for prom are available in the main
office and are due back by April 3rd.
New Bedford High School is offering a lifeguard course. The course is $300 per person.
Interested students can pick up information from the Athletic director's office. Course
begins on April 24.
Apponecon is on March 28th, from 5:00-10:00. There is free food, several video game tournaments (including a Just Dance and Madden tournament), Laser Tag, Deal or No Deal, and much, much more! Bring a canned good for each tournament you want to play in, remember your school ID for entry and bring cash for Apponecon merch, Deal or NoDeal, and Lazer Tag!

Attention Laker Nation! The volleyball tourney is quickly approaching. There are a limited
number of slots left for teams so be sure to bring your completed form and payment down
to guidance by Monday March 11. Winners get a Fat Cousins Pizza lunch in the cafe!
Students who need to make-up an assignment or a test will go to the library and not an
assigned T&T classroom.
Any boys interested in playing tennis this spring, there will be a short 10-minute
informational meeting today after school in the team room. If you are interested in playing

Next week is Spread the Word week, hosted by your LIFE Club. This week will be
dedicated to spreading awareness and promoting inclusion at ARHS and beyond! In the
spirit of inclusion, awareness, and acceptance the LIFE Club is asking and encouraging
everyone to show their support by wearing the following each day next week:
Monday (3/4) - wear purple for Epilepsy!
Tuesday (3/5) - no school, but wear green at home for Cerebral Palsy!
Wednesday (3/6) - wear blue for Spread the Word day! And don't forget to take the pledge
to spread the word by signing our banner in the main lobby and at lunches!
Thursday (3/7) - wear orange for Developmental Disabilities!
Friday (3/8) - wear your funkiest craziest socks for Down Syndrome!
Let's all come together to spread awareness and support those affected by these various
conditions and disabilities.
Attention Laker Nation! Are you obsessed with the FAMOUS lunch cookies here at
ARHS? What if I told you there was a way you could win free cookies for the rest of the
school year?? Well you’re in luck! The Class of 2027 will be selling Pot O’ Gold Cookie
Bags for St. Patrick's Day. Each bag will contain cookies and other treats, and one lucky
bag will hold a “Golden Cookie Ticket” which will provide the winner with one free cookie a
day for the rest of the school year! The bags cost $5 each, and you can place your order
during any lunch shift next week. Orders will be available for pick up during lunch on

Good luck to our girls ice hockey players who will be skating in the MIAA tournament Round of 32 on Wednesday 2/28/24 as they face off against #7Shrewsbury a the North star youth forum in Westborough, 5:15 pm.
Attention indoor track and field student-athletes: the team awards ceremony will take
place tomorrow, February 27th, at 3pm in the cafeteria. Remember your uniform if you
haven't turned it in already.
ATTENTION LIFE MEMBERS:
There will be meetings TOMORROW and THURSDAY right after school in room 106 until
approximately 3:15. These meetings are for planning/filming our annual Spread the Word
video, so you should only attend these meetings if you have ideas and/or want to be in the
video.
Due to no school on March 5th, the girls tennis preseason meeting will be held on
Thursday March 7th @ 2:15 in the team room.
The Laker Softball program has rescheduled its preseason meeting this Thursday in room
122. This is an informational meeting that should last about twenty minutes.
Attention Laker nation, ready, set, spike! The Class of 2026 is hosting the second annual
volleyball tournament on March 14th right after school. Get your teams together and come
sign up in the guidance office. Check your Laker locker for more updates and information
about the tournament.
The boys lacrosse program will hold its preseason meeting this Thursday in the team
room directly after school. Please bring a device to the meeting to sign into google
classroom. The class code is posted by the gym and cafeteria.
