We are pleased to host an opportunity for our 18 year old students to register to vote! This Tuesday, the towns of Freetown and Lakeville will visit during lunches and guide students through a benchmark moment in their lives and prepare them to have their voices heard.
History classes have also focused upon the MA referendum ballot questions and students under 18 have also shared their voices on MCAS, minimum wage, and more, preparing them to be informed voters in the years to come.
There is still time for students to sign-up for the Military Meet and Greet. Any student who is interested and would like more information can contact their Guidance Counselor and sign up here.
PSATs will be held for Juniors on October 16th.

A Message shared with our students and staff to educate and celebrate:
Yom Kippur – The Day of Atonement
Yom Kippur is the holiest day in the Jewish calendar. Known as the Day of Atonement, it is a time for reflection, prayer, and to seek forgiveness. Yom Kippur marks the end of the Ten Days of Repentance, a period for introspection and renewal. It is an opportunity to reconcile with others, reflect on personal actions, and look forward to the year ahead with a sense of spiritual renewal.
Yom Kippur begins this year at sunset this Friday October 11th and lasts 25 hours through sundown on Saturday October 12th. Those observing Yom Kippur observe by fasting, refraining from work, and spending time in synagogue services.
For those celebrating, we wish you a meaningful and peaceful Yom Kippur. For those learning and supporting their Jewish friends, students, and community members, be mindful of the fasting of this holy day.
