The students are excited for Homecoming! Homecoming is at the Venus De Milo in Swansea on November 15. Tickets are 50 dollars each and went on sale this week for grades 12 and 11.  Ticket sales continue next week for grades 10-12 on Monday and for 9-12 on Tuesday after school and Wednesday morning. 

Seniors!  You have only a few weeks to turn in your yearbook photos and blurbs!  October 11 is the hard deadline and everything needs to be submitted by then.  Please check the google classroom; and if you have any questions, please contact your yearbook advisor Kim Desrosiers.

Nov 1 Military meet & Greet. Meet with representatives from various military branches.

The ARHS Safety Committee will be meeting in early October to discuss our security protocols, our fire drills, and to plan an announced ALICE drill this year. The committee consists of teachers, guidance counselors, the school nurse, administrators, and the SRO. We will communicate our plans to you and to our students as we balance practice safety and ensuring our students feel safe. image of a Chromebook

Important information for parents and guardians of grade 9 students. Students were issued Chromebooks with plastic protective covers. These covers are essential for the protection of the device. Damage caused by removal or to a device without a protective cover, will void the insurance and result in payment.

Clothing Bin - We are happy to "Go Green" by reducing textile waste from the local landfill with a FREE, No-Work Clothing and Shoes Recycling Fundraising Program. This clothing bin is located by the fence of the upper lot between GRAIS and ARHS. Please donate your clothing, rags, linens, shoes, handbags, and more to be recycled. Funds earned by this program will be used by our Laker Leader group to support community initiatives and school-wide needs.

It is Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15-October 15 and this year’s theme is “Pioneers of Change: Shaping the Future Together”. Our Equity team will discuss ways to explore and celebrate this culture. Check out our Library displays.
