A Shoutout from the Wellness Department
Luciana Olivieri recently received a card for Effort for remaining active in class, even while side-lined, by assisting in setting up for class and officiating games.
The activity is foam rolling and gives the students an option to stretch their muscles in a non traditional way and recover from activity or injury. Students learn its benefits and when foam rolling is safe and effective to utilize in an exercise routine. This is a lifelong activity that will increase the students health literacy regarding types of exercise.
