Laker Nation News - 9-8-23
School is back in session, and despite the heat, there are smiles and an air of excitement for the new year. All students attended class meetings on the first day of school, focused on our Core Values of Achievement, Resilience, Honor, and Self-Advocacy and emphasizing practices which support these values, such as our use of cell phone caddies, the use of passes to reduce digital engagement, a “first five focus” in which students are punctual and utilize the entirety of the learning block. We are committed to a great year of engaging learning experiences.
Senior, Mason Macuch, welcomes the FLRSD staff with a tribute to the positive impact that teachers have on students.
