This event is for the family of any new student entering Assawompset! This includes all kindergarten students and any new children that have moved to Lakeville and will be joining us in the fall.
Agenda:
4:00 p.m. - meet on the playground. Kindergarten students will meet their teachers and visit their classrooms. A quick tour will take place and a small activity.
While the kindergarten students are with their teachers, parents will congregate in the cafeteria where Ms. Pineault, building principal, the PTO and the bus company will provide a presentation of what to expect at Assawompset. Any new student entering grades 1, 2 and/or 3 will also join the presentation in the cafeteria with their families. There will also be a question and answer time.
The event will end with popsicles on the playground for families.
**Only Kindergarten teachers will be present to greet students at this event.
