2024 Summer Reading
It’s important to continue good reading habits over the summer. The following are just some of the benefits of reading 20 minutes a day:
Reading and going to the library with your children provides quality family bonding time.
Reading will improve vocabulary, comprehension and reading skills.
Reading aloud to children also builds their listening skills.
Reading helps children prepare for school readiness.
Reading is excellent exercise for the brain.
Summer Reading 2024
(Tips and Suggestions from Brightly)
Reading keeps your comprehension skills up to par. But make daily reading fun, not grueling. Participate in a summer reading program. Let your child choose the books they want to read. Let them stay up late to read in bed with a headlamp. Read and review books on Bookopolis. For more creative reading activities, visit my Reading Activities board on Pinterest.
